Description

In this two-hour workshop, you'll learn the fundamentals of weaving on a locally made Swatch Loom (a beginner-friendly 2x2" frame loom). We'll cover how to warp the loom, basic weaving techniques, and look at some samplers together. You'll design your own mini woven art piece inspired by different landscapes, colors, and textures. At the end, you'll snap your artwork into a retro-style frame and take it home to hang on your wall, put up on your fridge, or display on a shelf. All materials provided, no weaving experience required.
